Wei Kang is an Assistant Professor at the University of North Texas. Her research interests are spatial data science, housing, urban & neighborhood change, spatial inequality, and sustainability. Her current projects focus on housing, disaster resilience, and neighborhood dynamics and are supported by the National Science Foundation and California Department of Health. She is the core developer and maintainer of the widely used open-source spatial analysis python library – PySAL.
