geosnap: Neighborhoods in Educational Research
This project enhances the geosnap
software package to assist research on the relationship between neighborhoods and educational outcomes. Its goal is to improve the analytical capacity of educational researchers supporting Black, Latino, and low-income students by making advanced spatial methods easier to adopt. The project will create a new data API in geosnap making educational datasets easier to obtain, implement new techniques for spatial interpolation and spatial optimization, and develop a suite of training materials.
